Wilson Baseball Care-oke

The coach of the Wilson Freshman Baseball team wanted the boys to do something to give back this holiday season. It was decided that the boys would have a Care-oke night at the Beach Club. Each boy on the team would sing a kareoke song and then roam the crowd with his baseball hat to get donations depending on how good the kareoke performance was.
The evening started with a bang with a performance of "Soul Man" by Stevie and Andrew. The rest of the team followed till it got to Mickey and Kelly who sang "All Star". Then came the big finale. Eric Wilcox the "Squints" of the team. Hasn't hit his growth spurt yet, the size of an 11 year old with thick glasses - but a solid ball player. He jumped out on the floor wearing tights, pink soccer shorts, and a tight Under Amour shirt and he rocked a kareoke cover of "Tik Tok".

The crowd went wild and Eric was showered with money! Eric on his own raised over $250 and the freshman team total was over $1100 for a family who has a child with cancer.
