Leaving on a Jet Plane

After a one-month visit in Long Beach Chandler was excited to get back to Utah to see his Dad and his Dog! We had a great time with him visiting and I am going to miss him. He is such a nice boy and never gave me one second of trouble during the whole month. He and Shelby got along perfectly the entire time! I wish he could stay - I had a fun time being mother to four. I'm going to miss him driving around with me and singing "jalepeno" at the top of his lungs to Lady Gaga.

Disneyland

On Monday a pretty princess treated Chandler to his first real visit to the Magic Kingdom. The park was empty the first three hours of the visit (a miracle for July) and he got to sample all of what Disneyland has to offer, including Shelby's favorite fried chicken lunch at the Plaza Inn.

Downtime

After two weeks of Little Leewhalers and many late nights of baseball watching, Shelby and Chandler were excited to glue their butts to the couch for the day!

Last Day at Leeway

The sun was finally shining for the last day of Little Leewhalers! Chandler and Shelby had a great time the last two weeks enjoying the aquatic lifestyle of Long Beach.

Watching

(Shelby and Chandler in bleacher prison)Chandler spent his second week in Long Beach watching . . . 4 baseball games for Kelly, 1 2hr+ swim meet for Wyatt and Shelby, and 3 soccer games for Kelly. Shelby is used to this gig, but it was Chandler's first week in bleacher prison! Luckily he was spared a visit to Brea to watch 3 waterpolo games for Wyatt.

Trips to the snack shack always make watching duty much better!

Little Leewhalers

The first day of camp was cold and rainy, but the kids still loved Little Leewhalers! They had fun canoeing and playing games on the beach. Hopefully tomorrow brings more sun and fun.

Chandler's First Week

Monday night we got him set-up in the bunk room:
(plus we tried Splash waterpolo and made a trip to Costco)Tuesday he visited Thifty's for ice cream after a long day of ICES camp:
(which included a LONG walk to the Belmont pool) Wednesday we rode our bikes to the bay:

Thursday/Friday it was back to ICES to hang out with his favorite counselor Ernest:

(plus two more trips to the beach!)

Three times he got to go to the CSULB pool to watch Shelby at swim team:

(plus he made two trips to Ava O.'s house to swim) Saturday was all day fun at the Panama Block Party:
He misses his mom and dad - but I think he is having too much fun to go home yet!
