Schwimmers

Thursday night was the final summer series meet vs. Rocketfish. At this point both kids are marginal competitive swimmers, but I am so proud of both of them. Shelby has potential. Her last race she was the anchor for a four-man freestyle relay. When she dove into the water her team was way in last place and she swam so fast and so hard and with such good form that she passed two other teams. Another Dad told me her swim was so impressive everyone in the stands was cheering for her. I'm also proud of Wyatt because even though he never wins a blue ribbon he always has a smile on his face and keeps cheering on his teammates and his sister. I am proud of him for working hard and having fun, even if it doesn't get the results he would hope for. If nothing else, my kids are in good cardiovascular shape and they are blessed with great coaches and great teammates. GO SHORE!
