Holes

Today Shelby lost her first tooth at Rogers Middle School while she was watching Willy Wonka in Kelly's science class while I passed out refreshments for the 8th grade graduation. It happened quickly - she had just found that she had a loose tooth the night before. When the tooth came out she was scared to tell me - because she knew it would break my heart, and it did. It brought tears to my eyes. The hole in her mouth is making a hole in my heart. Even worse is that she graduates from preschool tomorrow. I am heartbroken that my sweet little girl is growing up, but Shelby is excited!
