Monday night was the first cotillion for the 2008-2009 season. Wyatt wore his navy suit and Shelby wore her favorite purple dress (courtesey of Marie Osmond) that she wore to Abbie's wedding and wears to church almost every week.
I love seeing all the kids come dressed up for cotillion. I love seeing the boys escort the girls in the opening promenade. They have such a good time dancing and learning manners. I love that it is a little bit of the 50's still alive in Long Beach.
Shelby loves that they serve 7up with cherries for refreshments.

The kids were having a lot of fun playing a soda pop dancing game with Mr. Burgess.
