We left Aunt Kelly's soon after dinner on Thanksgiving to travel to Vegas for a soccer tournament Kelly was playing in. Right before we left Kelly asked if Sam could come with us. Of course we said yes, because Sam is an angel child. Then crazy Aunt Kelly said why don't you leave Shelby here? So we traded Sam for Shelby which was a pretty unfair trade, but made for a much nicer trip for us. It was freezing on the soccer fields in Vegas! I realized the next morning when we were in Vegas that I had never been away from Shelby for 24hours, but she survived and so did I and so did Aunt Kelly! Luckily Isaac is a nice cousin and lets her do fun things like fix his hair. In fact, this morning Shelby requested that I do her hair the way Thomas combed it for her when she stayed at the DeScheppers.
Kelly did great in the tournament and scored the first goal of the first game!
