Happy Birthday Shelby!

Shelby has insisted she has been four since her party in Utah three weeks ago (thanks mom for the great party!) however, her real birthday was this weekend. Shelby was so excited to go to school on Friday and get her birthday crown. She also requested that I make cupcakes with princess rings to take to her class. Of course I made the cupcakes and the princess rings were a huge hit at the preschool. I picked her up from school on Friday and took her and three of her friends to the pumpkin patch and McDonald's. It was a perfect birthday celebration for a four year old girl.

Thanks to everyone in Utah for the great birthday presents! We have been listening to a lot of HSM2 in the car - so this year you have success Kat! Shelby wore Rachel's sweatsuit home from Utah and when she woke up Monday morning she wore Kacie's outfit to school. She has also been playing with her new dolls a ton. The biggest birthday hit was the magnadoodle from Aunt Kelly. On the airplane ride home from Utah I was surprised to find out that Shelby can write her first and last name and a lot of other things. Thanks to everyone for making Shelby's birthday so special!
